Issue/Introduction

You've received an email encrypted or signed with S/ MIME. The key icon appears in the open email but you get the message "No Certificates found in this message" when you select the key icon to validate.

Resolution

With the Main screen displayed,

  1. Tap Menu button and select Settings.
  2. Tap the Advanced Settings tab.
  3. Go to S/MIME option.
  4. Select Fetch Full Mime.
  5. Tap Save at the bottom of the screen to apply changes.
  6. Open the email.
  7. Tap Menu, More, Refetch.

The cert should be there to validate.
