Issue/Introduction

ActiveSync not found and policies not initialized message in TouchDown for Android.

Resolution

To fix this, try refreshing your ActiveSync settings,

  1. Open TouchDown. The Main screen displayed.
  2. Tap Menu button and select Settings.
  3. Tap the Connection tab.
  4. Tap the ActiveSync... button.
  5. Choose "Refresh ActiveSync Settings."
  6. After you've completed this operation, go to the first tab marked "Account" and rerun the Quick Configuration wizard.

This should get you back on track and receiving mail regularly.
