View - Reference to old tape sequence number still shown after a successful SARPAC process

Issue/Introduction

Used the SARPAC utility to move tape data from one VOLSER to another. The SARPAC move went fine but when ran the SARPAC REPORT again, one of the report's old tape sequence number is still showing.

When recall the report, View correctly calls from the New VOLSER and recovers the report.

Reason why is the old tape sequence pointer record still showing in View after a successful execution of SARPAC.

Resolution

Since the report in question has been successfully SARPAC'ed to a new tape, View knows that it needs to get the report off from the new tape. Additionally, the reference to the report on the old tape sequence number should automatically be removed when the next standard backup cycle runs.
