When a service offering is configured to use one-click submit rather than the shopping cart, attachments and notes must be added before the request is submitted. This is because there is no shopping cart stage where notes and attachments can be added.
If a service option group has more than one service option in it, and the service offering is configured to use one-click submit, when the service offering is viewed, each service option has two icons, notes and attachments and also notes and attachment links next to the "Submit" button.
If a service option group has a single service option in it, when the service offering is viewed, there are no icons next to the service option, only the notes and attachment links next to the "Submit" button.
Why are the icons missing when there is a single service option in the service option group?
In the case of several service options being available to choose, the user can add a note or attachment to individual service options (using the icons next to each option), or they can add a note or attachment to the whole request (using the links next to the "Submit" button).
In the case of there only being a service option available to select, adding a note or attachment to the option or the request is functionally the same, so the icons for attaching these to the service option do not appear. In this case, the user must use the links to attach notes or attachments.
