If you copy files to a USB drive, network share location, or a CD-DVD drive and at the same time the DLP Agent is shut down or uninstalled, Windows Explorer may hang or crash.
If Windows explorer has hung or crashed:
- Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE keys.
- Select Task Manager in the Windows security dialog box.
- In Windows task manager go to File > New Task (Run...).
- Enter explorer.exe in the Create New Task dialog box.
- Press the OK button.
After you complete these steps, explorer.exe is re-launched and you can continue copying files.
