Does Symantec DLP Oracle Database support separate schema and application accounts?

Issue/Introduction

Many customers have corporate security policies that call for a separation of the database account that owns the application schema, and the account that the application uses to access the schema.

Resolution

While this is an important security concern, at present time there is no separation of the the Oracle schema owner and the application access account.   They are one and the same.  Creating a separate application account with access and synonyms will change the system to become an "alternate configuration" and may be unsupportable.
