Occasionally the license key expires, and the UI cannot be used for logging on to Vontu.
To resolve this issue:
1. Create the file, Protect.lic:
- Enter only the new license key in the file.
- Ensure the protect user has permissions to the file.
2. Place the file in the directory: \Vontu\Protect\config\Protect.lic.
3. Restart the Vontu services. Upon restart, the license is loaded into the database and the file is deleted.
