Error "Tablespace is almost full", event code 2301 received in Enforce

Issue/Introduction

Received a "2301" event on Enforce console saying "Oracle tablespace LOB_tablespace is over 89% full." However, when running a DB profile script, this usage value may be different from the one generated by script. The usage value in DB script is 98% which is much higher than the Enforce alert.

Resolution

The discrepancy is due to the different ways of calculating the tablespace usage. This condition requires action to expand database space or delete incidents. See Article ID 159990 for more information (link below).
