Issue/Introduction

The customer heard one of Hyper PTFs, RI98123, is published.

He worry about following description.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
After APPLYing the PTFs associated with IBM APAR OA53497:
R7B0 - UA93507
R7A0 - UA93508
R790 - UA93509

CA Common Services address spaces; CAMASTER, CAS9(CAIRIM) and ENF
will encounter load failures for modules at IPL time if running as LNKAUTH=APFTAB.

He read the above and understood as follows;

Problems might occur when CAMASTER and CAIRIM are started on environment which specified LNKAUTH = APFTAB.

Is he understanding correct?

Although he read the manual, he could not get information about LNKAUTH.
So, he would like to know how to check his current LNKLAUTH setting and the location.

Yes. You are correct.

There is LNKAUTH in the SYS1.PARMLIB(IEASYSxx).
The LNKAUTH=LNKLST is default
