Installing FlexResponse on an Endpoint Agent fails with error

Attempting to install FlexResponse Plugin component for Symantec Endpoint Encryption (Symantec_Endpoint_Encryption_FlexResponse_Plug_In_1.0.0_Win_EN) via command prompt fails with the message:

C:\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent>flrinst.exe -op=install

Failed to read database schema.
Database access problem or Plugin Installer is not compatible with this endpoint version.


This installation failed because the plugin version was older than the Endpoint Agent version so they were incompatible.

You can check the version of you plugin by right clicking on the plugin file and view Properties and Version.

If you encounter this issue please contact your Symantec Sales Consultant or Partner for the correct FlexResponse version for your Endpoint Agent.
