Occasionally, customers fail to use the Symantec DLP template to create the database. Failure to use the template results in, amongst other things, the database missing the LOB_TABLESPACE. This error causes a Validation Error during the create schema portion of the installation.

If the customer configures their own database, Support responsibility for the database falls to customer's DBA or DBA team.
Broadcom/Symantec DLP Technical Support will provide "best effort" database support, and will continue to fully support the database schema. Make sure to validate the creation of LOB_TABLESPACE prior to moving forward with the installation or upgrade.
The only supported method for DLP is a complete reinstall of the DB schema to the specifications and using the template that is provided by Broadcom/Symantec DLP.
