No users can log into the Enforce UI even when no users are locked

Issue/Introduction

You are having a issue where none of your users can log into the Enforce UI despite the fact that Enforce is running just fine on Windows. Looking in the LocalHost log you seeing re-occurring entries saying:

"java.lang.IllegalStateException: The custom attribute store instance already exists."

Resolution

Take a look at the VontuManager.log, and see if there are corresponding entries with a minute or two of the error's in the Localhost log that say:

"Exception in thread "ReportScheduler_QuartzSchedulerThread" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/quartz/utils/ExceptionHelper"

If that string is found, it may indicate a corruption or mismatch of the Quartz.jar file that is located in two directories:

\Vontu\Protect\lib\jar and \Vontu\Protect\tomcat\webapps\ProtectManager\WEB-INF\lib

Take a copy of the quartz.jar from the 1st path, go into the second path, rename the current quartz.jar and then paste the copied file here. Afterwards, recycle the Vontu Manager service, and then attempt to log into the console.

If this does not resolve the issue, or the VontuManager.log does NOT have the corresponding quartz error, please contact Technical Support for further troubleshooting
