Issue/Introduction

Only the Administrator account can change the Administrator password from the UI.

However there is a known issue that prevents changing the Administrator password if AD Authentication is enabled.

You will still receive Password Change successful, but will not be able to log in with the new password.

Resolution

There are two workarounds to update the Administrator password when AD Authentication is enabled.

1) Turn off AD Authentication via System / Settings / Configure Uncheck "

2) Use AdminPasswordReset as defined in the Admin guide.
