Issue/Introduction

The customer is looking for Endpoint FlexResponse utility (flrinst.exe) as this does not appear to be available with default DLP installers on Broadcom Support Portal.

Below are some common questions in regard to this utility:

1.     Where can I find the Endpoint FlexResponse utility on Broadcom Support Portal?

2.     How can I obtain the Endpoint FlexResponse utility (flrinst.exe)?

 

Resolution

Endpoint FlexResponse utility (flrinst.exe) is not available with the default Symantec Data Loss Prevention installation, and is not available to customers on Broadcom Support Portal.

As mentioned in the Admin guide, customers should contact a Symantec Partner or Symantec Sales Representative in order to obtain the Endpoint FlexResponse installer.
