Is it possible to change the Maximum Filesize for Endpoint?

Issue/Introduction

By default, the Endpoint Agent will only extract text from files 30MB in size or less.  Is there a way to increase this value so that larger files can be processed?

Resolution

The Maximum Filesize for text filtering on Endpoint can be changed from the Agent Settings page.

You may modify the entry

Detection.MAX_FILTER_FILE_SIZE.int

Specify the new value in bytes. The default is 31457280 bytes, which is 30 MB.

Note: Increasing this value may affect performance.
