Issue/Introduction

How to set an individual timeout per protocol

Resolution

To set an individual timeout per protocol, perform the following:

To set globally:

1. Go to Administration -> Settings -> Protocols
2. Click on the protocol
3. Change the setting No Traffic Notification Timeout

To set on a per server basis:

1. System -> Overview -> Server -> Configure
2. Click on the protocol  
3. Change the setting No Traffic Notification Timeout

Afterwards the server needs to be recycled.

Note: The timeout period should be set to no less than 60 sec (1 min).  The maximum value is 604800 sec (7 days).
