Values of variables in NX.env and Options are not same

Issue/Introduction

LDAP not working well, values in nx.env and Options manager are not same

Discovered some variables in NX.env are not same to the Optons manager in the GUI

Logon ServiceDesk Manager as servicedek

Go to administration tab, Option Manager, Ldap.

We see values are not same to NX.env , why ?

 

Environment

Service Desk Manager 14.X, 17.X.

Resolution

Change made in NX.env will not be updated in the Options Manager. We have

 

1/ We suggest to do the change in Option Manager from the GUI, it will alo update the NX.env

Go to Administration tab, Options manager, Ldap. Set the values of the variables on the right pane

 

2/ Use the command line to execute pdm_options_mgr, this command update NX.env and the Options

pdm_options_mgr -b -s LDAP_ENABLE -v Yes -a pdm_option.inst
