Hide the "Scanning for Sensitive Data" popup window on the Endpoint Agent

Issue/Introduction

There is a "Scanning for Sensitive Data, Examining content" popup that occurs regardless of whether Endpoint notification or blocking is enabled.

Environment

Data Loss Prevention Endpoint Agent 15.x and 16.x

Resolution

There is a "Scanning for Sensitive Data" pop-up that occurs regardless of whether Endpoint notification or blocking is enabled:

To disable the pop-up, open the Enforce Console and follow the steps:

1. Go to System / Agents / Agent Configuration / <Select the active Agent Configuration> / Advanced Settings
   
   
2. Find the UI.NO_SCAN.int setting
   
   
3. Change this from 0 to 1
   
   
4. Save the changes and apply the Agent Configuration to the agent group(s)
   
   
5. Ensure the agents receive this new configuration
   
   

Done! The popup is now disabled.
