CA DB2 R20 .AUTH command not working BPA0013 BPAEXIT1 using EXIT1TAB method

Issue/Introduction

UID IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE AUTHID

WE are working CA DB2 Tools R20 but we're having a problem. 

The DBAs often use the .AUTH command in there control and it is not working in R20. 

 It says the user is IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE AUTHID 

BPA0013E: COMMAND CANCELLED BY USER SECURITY EXIT: BPAEXIT1 

RETCODE = 8 

We use the EXIT1TAB method for authority and have reassembled and re-linked the exit with the 

EXIT1TAB as documented. Why is this not working in R20?

Resolution

As part of R20 Architectural changes, we have renamed some common EXIT routines to product specific exit routines.

So as part of this exercise EXIT01 bas been renamed to BPAEXIT1 and same should be available in *.PRD.CDBASAMP library.

 

Run RBP Assemble and Link Security Exits from the RBP Install Customization panel and substitute EXITNAM as 'BPAEXIT1', 

not EXIT01.
