Issue/Introduction

When trying to connect to the UI, connecting to https://127.0.0.1 works fine. If you try using https://hostname, the certificate warning appears, and then nothing.

Resolution

The problem may be that the Manager is not an IE trusted site. The configuration of IE 7 is too restrictive. You need to add it to the trusted sites.

To add Vontu Manager as a trusted site: 

  1. From the browser, select Tools > Internet Options
  2. From the Internet Options window, select Security > Trusted sites
  3. Click Sites.
  4. Add the Web site to the trusted sites list.
