Edpa service does not start due to the system time change on Endpoint computer

You may find that edpa.exe service does not start on some endpoint computers. The EDPA and WDP services startup type are both set to "Manual" for unknown reason.

In edpaX.log, you may find the following errors.

This is a known issue. Etrack 2797851 has been filed for investigation. The delivery of the fix is targeted on V12.5.

This problem usually happens when the endpoint computer's motherboard battery becomes flat. The BIOS time will be reset each time when the computer restarts.  Customer may have set third-party endpoint management software to adjust the system time. However, edpa service has tried to start with incorrect system time during the computer's startup.
