Replication get failed with Communication Exception Error Code = 285278208 ErrorMsg Code = 7

Issue/Introduction

The replication from primary Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) to the secondary is showing successful, however the replication from secondary to primary get failed in 10%

Console timeout of Primary SEPM

Console timeout of Secondary SEPM

Cause

HTTP session was invalidated in every 5 minutes. The replication login session was invalidated by the console timeout setting from the Remote partner Primary SEPM.

Resolution

Keep Console timeout setting same on both the SEPM servers.

To change the timeout period

• in the console, click Admin, and then click Servers.
• Click Local Site and click Edit Site Properties.
• On the General tab, click the Console Timeout drop-down list and select one of the available options for length of time.
• Click OK.
