LDAP components of Symantec Web Gateway (SWG) become unresponsive to dcinterface after upgrade to SWG5.2

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to SWG5.2, removing the previous version of dcinterface, and installing the dcinterface which is available within the Authentication page of the SWG UI, the SWG appears to stop receiving LDAP data from dcinterface. The intervals when SWG appears to become unresponsive to LDAP data appear to correlate with Database updates.

Resolution

Symantec is investigating at this time.
