The Technical Note also covers customizing BartPE or BartPE-based tools, however this was a feature that worked in early versions of Symantec Drive Encryption, but have not been supported for versions 9.12 and beyond and are no longer supported.
Note: Support for 64-bit WinPE was first introduced with Symantec Drive Encryption 10.3.0.
