Issue/Introduction

The customer followed details for updating a base installation of a CCS UNIX Agent installation using the patch.sh script in this article:

However, when trying to run patch.sh errors would occur that prevent it from executing.

Error when running patch.sh:

# ./patch.sh interpreter "/bin/bash" not found file link resolves to "/usr/bin/bash"
sh: ./patch.sh: not found

Cause

Product defect with shell installation script.

Resolution

Attached to this KB article are CCS UNIX Agent-based binaries that have the shell script corrected so that the patch.sh will run properly (attached file: CCS_11_0_3_UNIX_Agent_Updates.zip).
