With the current design of the Symantec Encryption Management Server only one NTP server can be added for time synchronization. Per NTP protocol specifications multiple NTP servers should be queried for accurate and reliable synchronization.
The error message "The NTP Server is invalid." is issued by the Encryption Server when trying to add multiple NTP server names or IP addresses.
The web interface only allows a single hostname or IP address to be added. Adding the hostname of a NTP server pool i.e. from http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/ will add only one of the resolved IP addresses to the configuration file /etc/ntp.conf.
