Issue/Introduction

Creating a new report and using the dialogue picker type of "Dropdown List Value Edit Control" would create an error "Failed to construct the dynamic virtual windows could not find the stored procedure spGetItemReferences.

"Failed to construct the dynamic virtual windows could not find the stored procedure spGetItemReferences"

( Exception Details: System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Could not find stored procedure 'spGetItemReferences'.

Cause

With rollup version 6 or 7 a change was made that referenced a stored procedure that does not exist in 7.1 SP2 MP1 or 7.1 SP2 MP1.1.  The stored procedure spGetItemReferences is a query that is used in 7.5.

Resolution

Copy the attached stored procedure to SQL Server Management Studio and execute it.  This will create the stored procedure and should resolve the error.  The stored procedure should be available in 7.1 SP2 Mp1.1 rollup 8.
