Deferred messages when accepted from a host with a broken PTR record in Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG)

If both inbound and outbound mail is received on the same IP address and port, mail from an IP address with a broken PTR record will be deferred.
Symantec is aware of the issue and is investigating a possible solution. As a workaround, the Inbound and Outbound interfaces can be assigned their own IP addresses within SMG and this situation will not occur.
