This article details the supported email clients for PGP Messaging with Symantec Encryption Desktop. When secure email messaging is enabled, Encryption Desktop monitors the email traffic between your email client and your mail server. Depending on the circumstances, Encryption Desktop will intercede on your behalf to encrypt, sign, decrypt, or verify messages.

Note: Symantec Encryption Desktop for Windows will, in many cases, work with Internet-standards-based email clients other than those listed here. Symantec Corporation, however, does not support the use of other clients.
