Cause

Development research showed that this is a bug in the oracle installer which does not handle well any environment variable that starts with {. altiris agent uses AeX_{A4597EF2-B2F1-4954-A2FF-A65C393439AF}_<ProcessID> env variable.

Resolution

1. Use an Admin that has local administrator rights as the "Run as" user.

2. We can avoid this issue using the attached .BAT file. Use this method to launch and install Oracle when using the "Agent Credentials" option.

3. Report this issue to Oracle to see if there is a solution on their end.
