Symantec Critical System Protection Web Console Internal Error

The access to the Symantec Critical System Protection Web Console fails with below error.

"AjaxSwing Error

Web Console Internal Error

Check log file for details and the stack trace.

You can increase the tracing level by setting TraceMgr.level=10 in conf/ file

Check Environment Information to make sure that your setup is correct."



From the server hosting the SCSP Management Server:

1. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Critical System Protection\Server\Ajaxswing\conf,
2. Open the file in Notepad,
3. Look for com.creamtec.core.TraceMgr.level  = 2 and replace the value "2" with "10",
4. Restart the Symantec Critical System Protection Server service to apply the modification.

The access to the SCSP Web Console should now work.
