After doing a new install of CA Intertest for CICS R 10 I am missing CAVHPROT from the CAVHJCL JCL library. I see a DEFSYM just wondering if this had changed. Why is member CAVHPROT missing?

Member CAVHPROT is copied to the CAVHJCL library by applying FMID CAVHA00 and DEFSYM is copied when you apply FMID CABAA00.
The CAVHPROT JCL simply allows you to define and Initialize a PROTSYM file. DEFSYM which has been shipped with CA Intertest CICS for years and also allows you to define and initialize a PROTSYM file and loads the CA Intertest CICS control blocks CSECT's into the PROTSYM. The members are listed below.
You can use the DEFSYM JCL if you need to define an initialize and empty PROTSYM file. All you need to do is remove parameter RELOAD=ALL from the LOAD STEP program IN25UTIL.
