Issue/Introduction

Since upgrading to SMP 7.1 SP2 MP1 (v2 Rollup applied), the RAAD v2 Tool returns this error connecting to a remote machine:'Altiris Agent not installed. Unable to connect.'

Cause

 Pontential corruption of cached credentials

Resolution

 

 
On the Host machine (computer from where the connection is initiated)
 
-Go to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Symantec\  (Note: AppData is a hidden folder)
-Delete the folder for RAADv2…
-Open RAAD
-In the Menu select Settings > Change Client Authentication, and input the AppID and Password
-Connect to remote computer.
