Issue/Introduction

During an upgrade of the System Agent 11.3 , the upgrade process takes a backup of the existing environment. You can get following warning messages while it tries to copy files:

Backing up patched files from: /opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/SystemAgent/<agentname> 

to 

/opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/SystemAgent/<agentname>/patches/1-SP7/backup 

/ESPmgr.bin 

/chkusr 

/cybAgent.bin 

/cybspawn.bin 

/filewatcher 

/jars/config.jar 

/jars/core.jar 

/jars/ext/axis-ant.jar

Can explain the cause for the below error messages?

CA Workload Automation System Agent 11.3

Resolution

These files should not be left behind after installing the system agent or after applying a patch unless there was a failure with one of these actions. This is why during backup the files are tired to be copied.

You can ignore these warning messages.
