Issue/Introduction



After modifying some Parse Settings for the Knowledge Search, I need to run pdm_k_reindex

 

But in the command line interface I get an ERROR message:

 

The pdm_k_reindex has been closed because of a critical error. Please see system log for details. 

09/11 09:48:19.89 <servername> pdm_k_reindex 17832 EXIT BPebrReindex.c 3016 EBR::REINDEX::EBR::REINDEX::Cannot open file EBR_REINDEX.LOG.

Environment

USRD 14.1, 17.0

Resolution

The above ERROR is thrown, when pdm_k_reindex is run on an Application Server.

In an Advanced Availability Environment, pdm_k_reindex needs to be run on the Background Server.
