Knowledge Search with German characters

Issue/Introduction

How can I search the Knowledge Documents for words with German Umlauts?

Environment

USRD 14.1, 17.0

Resolution

To be able to use German Umlauts (ä,ö,ü,ß) in Knowledge Search,

these characters need to be added to the 'Valid Character Range'.

Go to 'Knowledge -> Search -> Parse Settings'

and add ä,ö,ü,ß to the range:

Additional Information

After this change, it's required to run pdm_k_reindex
