FEATURE REQUEST: Add NIC Teaming (NIC Bonding) support for Symantec Encryption Management Server (formerly PGP Universal Server)

When Using Symantec Encryption Management Server (SEMS) (formerly PGP Universal Server) with multiple physical network interfaces, NIC Teaming (NIC Bonding) is improving availability of the server, combining multiple network connections in parallel increasing throughput and redundancy of server network connections.

This feature request would help to confirm if the link aggregation is available and supported by Symantec Encryption Management Server.


Symantec Encryption Management Server (SEMS) (formerly PGP Universal Server) is software appliance based on CentOS operation system which may provide link aggregation facilities, but currently in order to provide NIC teaming feature, SEMS configuration files, utilities and web-interface have to be changed.


Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.
