DB Management Service does not start or crashes on machine startup

When you reboot the server the Altiris DB Management doesn't start or crashes with the below error message:

Our development is aware of the problem. Currently there is no ETA for a FIX.



As a workaround you can:
- enable the Service Recovery, so that the service starts automatically in case of a failure
- or you can change the Startup type from "Automatic" to "Automatic (Delayed Restart)" for the "Altiris Deployment Server DB Management" service.
- or you can add a Dependency for the Driver DB Management service so that it will be started, as soon as the "TCP IP Protocol Driver" is available
To add a dependency go into the registry "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Altiris Deployment Server DB Managment" and create a new "REG_MULTI_SZ" with the name "DependOnService" and enter the value: Tcpip
