Server Error on viewing Mobile Management policies

Mobile Management Management Platform (Formerly known as Notification Server)

Issue/Introduction

When logged into the Symantec Management Console as a user that does not belong to the Symantec Administrators security role, an error message appears as follows:

 

Server Error in '/Altiris/MobileManagement' Application.


Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Cause

Access to the Symantec Management console for managing Symantec Mobile Management requires the user to be a member of the Symantec Administrators security role.

Resolution

Add the user account to the Symantec Administrators security role, or clone the Symantec Administrator security role and add the user to this role.
