After installing Symantec Endpoint Encryption on top of McAfee Endpoint Encryption the machine fails to boot.
Possible cause:
1. Symantec Endpoint Encryption Removal Storage modified the MSGINA which was already modified by McAfee Endpoint Encryption so Windows could not load any profile with MSGINA.
2. McAfee is creating its own unique pre-boot file system type (virtual volume).
This issue has been fixed in SEE Full Disk 8.2.1 MP3 HF1 and later versions.
Applies To
Windows XP SP3 with McAfee Endpoint Encryption for hard drive.
