Can Web Viewer 11.5 utilize a MSA account or Machine ID so passwords do not need to be changed?

Issue/Introduction

We are currently using a local SQL account and do not want to have to change passwords every 120 days due to our security requirement.  It is not an option to have a non expiring SQL local account.  We are looking for alternatives.

Is it possible for  Web Viewer 11.5 to utilize a MSA account or Machine ID so passwords do not need to be changed?

Environment

MS SQL Server

Resolution

No.  The SQL password is stored encrypted in the Windows Registry and an MSA account will not work and neither will the machine id.
