Various automated messages are sent by PGP Universal Server to Web Messenger users:
- A message from, by default, pgp-universal-admin with subject "PGP Universal Web Messenger Invitation" that asks the user to activate their Web Messenger account. This is sent from the domain specified in the server's Hostname under System / Network.
- A message from, by default, PGP Universal with subject "PGP Universal Passphrase Change" that is sent when the user creates their initial Web Messenger password. This is sent from the domain that is listed first under Consumers / Managed Domains.
- A message from, by default, PGP Universal with subject "PGP Universal Passphrase Reset" that is sent when a user forgets their initial Web Messenger password and chooses to reset it. This is sent from the domain that is listed first under Consumers / Managed Domains.
- A message from, by default, pgp-universal-admin with subject "PGP Universal: Recipient Passphrase" that is sent to the sender of the Web Messenger message if the Web Messenger option "Require Sender Authorization" is selected under Consumer Policy / Default / PGP Universal Web Messenger / General. This is sent from the domain specified in the server's Hostname under System / Network.
In environments where the domain part of the Hostname of the server is different to the domains used for email, this can result in unroutable messages being sent.
It would be useful to be able to override the domain used for all Web Messenger automated messages.
