After installing PGP Desktop 10.2.0 MP5 on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and performing PGP Whole Disk Encryption (PGP WDE), the system fails to boot the operating system.
"Bootguard" is displayed in the top left of the screen but the boot sequence goes no further.
This issue is resolved by installing PGP Desktop 10.2.1 MP3. This allows the system to boot normally after encrypting the disk with PGP WDE.
