Unable to Enroll User - "Insert Smart Card..."

Issue/Introduction

During enrollment, even though smart cards are not being used, user is asked to insert a Smart Card Token to continue enrollment.

 

Resolution

When not using smart cards, use the following steps to resolve this issue. 

  1. Log in to PGP Universal Server.
  2. Go to Consumer Policy > Keys tab > Certificate tab.
  3. In Existing PKI Credentials box, check if the Storage of keys on supported smart cards is set to disabled.
  4. Save the settings.
  5. Try to re-enroll the user again.
