Error: "The Symantec Application Server service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some service stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example the  Performance logs and Alert Service" when starting the Symantec Application Server Service in Control Compliance Suite (CCS) 11.0

Cause

If the domain password for the CCS Service Account has been changed in Active Directory due to password age policy, the CCS Service Account password needs to be re-configured to use the new password.

Resolution

1) Configure a new password using Configure a Service account utility inside the <install drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Reporting and Analytics>EncryptionManagementService folder on the CCS Reporting and Analytics Server.

2) Log in with the CCS Service account on the Reporting and Analytics Machine.

3) Download and Install the Symantec CCS Console from the Console Folder which is located inside Reporting and Analytics\Webportal\Console Folder by launching the Symconsole application and installation should complete successfully.

4) Check whether you can launch the Symantec CCS Console using CCS-Service account.
