Reducing the size of MAXACIDSIZE

We reformatted the master file moving from 512 to 1024. After loading the acids we ran into a problem which stopped the load. 

We have too many acids to dump in one group. 

We have been asked to have the max acid size field bumped back to 512. 

Do you see any problems with doing this?

Resolution

If on the TSS SECFILE that is 1024 you have acids that are greater than 512, then you Can NOT just go back. 

You would need to remove/revoke the acids greater than 512, to a point where the size is below 512. 

At that point the could go back to 512.
