This article provides clarifications on the purpose of the entry "Symantec Protection for SharePoint Server 6.0" that is visible in the "Site Features" page of the SharePoint Site Settings.
The "Symantec Protection for SharePoint Server 6.0" Site Feature is responsible for the navigation links that appear in SharePoint's Central Administration's "Operation" page.
Please note that this feature does not affect any scanning related activity and is not enabled by default, therefore it should be left unchanged on sites that are not the Central Administration Site.
