Issue/Introduction

Unable to Export Queries as Crystal Report is not installed.

A failure occured: Failed to initialize the Crystal Reports application.BindView RMS print and export features require Crystal Reports version 10 or newer to be installed.

 

 

Cause

Crystal Reports is either not installed or the installation is broken.  

 

Resolution

Please perform the following steps to resolve the issue.

1)Run PCU 2011-3>PCU 2012-1>PCU 2012-2 setups.

You must have the following files downloaded or copied to a folder on the RMS Console Machine.

a)CCS_DataCollection_10.5.1_PCU_2011-3_win.exe

b)CCS_DataCollection_10.5.1_PCU_2012-1_win.exe

c)CCS_DataCollection_10.5.1_PCU_2012-2_win.exe

2) The above files can be downloaded from the following link :-

ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/products/symantec_control_compliance_suite/10.5.1/Updates/Data_Collectors

The required PCU Upgrades were not completed so run the win.exe files in order from a to c.

Note:- PCU Upgrade package contains the MSI Package for Crystal Reports installation.

The upgrade(s) checks for the prerequisites before installing the updates and if prerequisites are not installed then it will install them.
