How to reset the Outbreak Management notifications in the Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange console.

You are continually receiving the same Outbreak Notifications from Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange. 


 When an Outbreak Notification is triggered, it does not automatically reset and you will continue to get notifications each time an item meets the requirements after the threshold is met. 


 After determining there is not an active Outbreak in your environment, you should reset the Outbreak Management so the counters will be restored to zero. 

Open the SMSMSE console, Click on Policies, Outbreak and select Clear current outbreak.
