Issue/Introduction

Unknown Key, Key ID is 0xABC0123A is shown on Master Key Tab.

"PGP Could not fine one or more of your Master Keys. The operation is unable to continue. Please go to the Master Keys Panel of PGP Options."

Resolution

Use the following steps to resolve the issue.

1. Open PGP Desktop.
2. Click Tools > Options > Master Keys.
3. Delete Unknown Key ID.
4. Click the PGP Tray icon in the Windows System Tray and select Exit PGP Services.
5. Re-start PGP Services by clicking Start > All Programs > Startup > PGP Tray.
6. Right-click any file and select Encrypt with Key to verify the solution.
